Internal Linking Analyzer

Internal links help visitors move to relevant pages and help search engines discover and understand content. This analyzer shows how the crawled pages connect so you can find important destinations that may be hard to reach.

The report lists up to ten crawled pages with the most unique outbound internal links. Category pages, resource directories, and primary navigation pages may naturally appear here; a high count is context, not automatically a problem.

There is no universal ideal number. Every important page should have at least one crawlable link from another page, and each link should serve a clear navigational or contextual purpose. The report uses one inbound link and more than 100 outbound links as review thresholds, not SEO rules.

It maps unique links found among the pages included in the completed crawl. It reports possible orphan pages, lightly linked pages, outbound-link counts, link distribution, generic anchor text, and image links without alt text when that detail is available.

Use concise text that makes the destination clear to visitors. Avoid generic wording such as “click here” when the link or its nearby context does not explain where it leads, and avoid forcing keywords into otherwise natural copy.

Internal links are the paths visitors and crawlers can follow between pages. An XML sitemap is a separate file that identifies URLs you consider important and can help search engines discover them. A sitemap does not guarantee crawling or indexing, so useful internal navigation still matters.
